Hey !
Seems this is the place for a quick presentation ?
Just sold my Kronos few weeks ago : extremely powerful beast but too complex and didn't have time to dig into it. Precise and great sounds, I believe whatever sound exists can be recreated on Kronos ! I believe I'll come back later to the Kronos when I have more time.
Picked up a gold KingKorg. Crappy keyboard feel (but not as worse as the Nord Lead 4) but very easy access to sound creation and great sound ! First time I dig into the analog world, very interesting indeed ! I'll share patches in the relevant sections once I understand how all this works.
Also have a Trinity to repair for a friend. Turns out not only the floppy drive is dead but some knobs are not responding well and the outputs are cracking a bit. Also need to replace the battery : too bad they didn't implement the same battery holder as in the Triton ! Need also to check the best way to update the OS using the Gotek image files...
No DAW, no computer connectivity, always playing live lately in a pop-funk cover band (but also played funk, pop, jazz, rock in many different bands).
Voila !
Fred

Yes, losing weight, losing super RH3 keybed feel, losing color screen, losing great acoustic and amazing evolving sounds, but gaining MUCH faster boot time, but most importantly : easier access to program values. I'm sure comparing what really can't be compared but in the end, I'm happy to have a much simpler synth, because YES, I'm a Nord-addict (chhhhhhh !)JerCaz wrote:...It must be weird to switch from KRONOS to KingKORG...
