disappearance of effects

Hi
the effects of my Kronos LS except the reverb suddenly disappeared. I had already had this problem several but only at startup. yesterday it was while playing and it did not crash but more effect. nothing helps even if I will change them in the menus. I had to do a restart. if it happens to me on stage .... it's not like it starts super fast like my Montage !!!!
has this ever happened to you? suggestions?

that should not happen. Hard to guess at what happened.

Do you recall what you were doing ? Like changing Programs or Combi's in a set list. ? A midi message from another device ?

Have a look at the cpu meters. If the effects CPU gets overloaded (e.g. using too many O-verbs at once) then things like this happen. Usually occurs just after changing patch, when SST is active and the effects CPU is having to process effects for both the old patch and the new one.

For this reason, its best to keep the effects CPU loading below about 40-50%
