Hello from Virginia Beach

I am an older guy from Virginia that is a music fanatic, but have never even been able to play so much as a kazoo. I decided to rectify that, and taught myself theory for 4 years while saving for a high end board to learn on (buy once, cry once). I just purchased a used, but immaculate kronos x 88 as my starter keyboard so I could teach my hands what my head knows!
I upgraded to OS 3.1.3, and loaded factory sound set 2 to get a fresh start on the monster. I am loving the sounds in program mode, have not played with combis, sequencing and all the other promising tools yet. I hope over time to be a contributor to keyboard newbies, and hope I can learn enough in four or five years to play some coffeehouses or similar gigs.
