Hi all.
You may find this interesting. I build myself a Zynthian based on a Raspberry Pi4 so I could stream vast sound libraries with out limits of sample ram and I’ve also built a hand gesture system that allows me to operate it without having to touch the screen.
I made the gesture system into a USB Dongle so it will work with other synths, but I plan to 3D print off a new Zynthian case where I can integrate everything into the one box.

Sharp.

You would use your PC or MAC to create whatever sounds or presets you want and you would transfer that data to the Zynthian over Wi-Fi or LAN for use. For example, I personally use Linux Sampler on the Zynthian most of the time. If my GIG files need to be tweaked, I load the sounds into Linux Sampler on my PC, setup ADSR, filters and such exactly how I want them and overwrite the Gig file so that the changes are saved. Then I just transfer the files to the Zynthian and it will play back the sounds exactly the same as how they sounded on my PC.How do you edit individual instruments?
On the Zynthian itself you can assign effects, save snapshots, add sounds to favourites and various other things that make it easy to create a custom program for performing.
Zynthian has a web interface you can use to configure the entire machine, transfer files and do backups and so on. So you can use your PC / MAC to configire the entire machine if you like. If you connect the Zynthian to your LAN, or Wi-Fi, then you can go to it's local URL to access the web interface. Or, you can do a direct connection over it's own internal HotSpot mode.Do you connect via remote desktop and use the instrument's GUI or do you have to copy presets to a sd-card?
Kind regards
Sharp.
