Korg pa3x Can’t record MP3. Please help!

I have an issue with recording a mp3 with my korg pa3x . When I load a mp3 in songmodus and press shift + record everything is ok untill I press rec. the recording begins but the mp3 is gone. Can not be played and the song is empty.

It worked fine before but suddenly I have this problem.

Playing mp3 files works fine. Recording is stylemodus works also.

I tried a factoryreset. I installed the update again but still the same problem.

If someone can help me with this i will be very gratefull.

You can record an MP3 from a style or midi or just playing keyboard sounds, but as far as I know you cannot record an MP3 while trying to play an MP3.
If you feed in the signal from an external MP3 player it might be possible to add keyboard sounds over the top.

I believe you are right. It’s possible on the pa4x but unfortunately not the case with the pa3x.
