I just got the Korg Volca Sample, bought it used, however, physically it is not damaged, the samples work when played individually, parameter programming knobs also work without flaws, however, as soon as I press 'play' to play a sequence it starts to play a single tone, more like noise. No samples are being played, only this sound. It is not being affected by any of the parameter knobs, I can hear it differ when turning the isolator Bass and Treble knobs, also the volume knob.
Did anyone encounter the same problem? It is really frustrating as everything else works fluently, without any noise, until I press the play button and instead of a sequence I get a single tone.
P.S. I tried restoring the factory sequences and updating the firmware, didn't help

Update!
So I know you had a similar issue and I just got an answer from pajen via the volca subreddit -
This a test tone that plays out and is typically not available in the regular Korg updates. If you still have this - update to pajens firmware. Access the global settings (hold func while pressing power) turn off setting 16. I hit REC after that and it *should* work.
Mine went back to normal and started playing the built in sequences.
