Korg User Net - New User can't register software

Post by Voltaire »

Hi - New User here. I'm trying to create a migration coupon and having terrible trouble.
I go to Korg User Net login at;

https://www.korguser.net/login.asp

I create an account enter my name and email details then click Next and enter the licence code and locking code, click Next but it returns this;

There is a problem with the resource you are looking for, and it cannot be displayed.

Is there a problem on the Korg Net registration server?
I've sent a support email to Korg but had no reply.

Thanks for any replies. Driving me nuts.

Korguser.net is no longer functional AFAIK.
Everything's been migrated over to Korg ID.

Hi - Thanks for the reply.

I've been told I've got to create a migration coupon. I do this by creating an id on the Korg Net website then I register the software by entering an authorisation and also a locking code from the VST when it runs. I can then create a migration code which I can use to transfer the software to my Korg Shop id account.

I think Korg have problems on the server. Another user has said there are problems this weekend.

Just an update to anyone whos trying to create an id and register software on Korg.net.

Korg have replied to me in an email that the server was down over the weekend and should be fixed.

It isn't - still getting a SERVER 500 error - I've replied to Korg to please get this sorted as soon as possible.

Voltaire, I donlt know what it is with Korg and this Legacy Collection through the 15 years I have owned it, but they've made us jump through so many barrles through the years my head is spinning. They changed the site's location, as you know, they keep changing the whole package, make it hard to do virtually everything, They give you absolutely NO updates via email, even though obviously, they have all of of our email addresses. I mean, how hard is it to send out the revisions information? I guess they are competeing with Steinberg to see how difficult they can make it for their customers? They also took ten years to upgrade the GUI into something manageable for sizes and a better browser. I do appreciate what they've done, just not their archaic customer relation policies. Good luck with things, you'll probably need it. I waas at the shop yesterday downloading new versions and it was all I could do to locate the page. Is it too hard to have a Download button?
