MultiInstrument Setup with Triton ProX and Logic Pro X

Post by jantevy »

I had a question about my Korg Triton ProX 88 workstation and was hoping someone could help point me in the right direction.

I am struggling to connect my Korg Triton ProX 88 workstation to my Logic Pro X DAW running on my Mac. Specifically, I am struggling to setup the “multi-instrument” so I can record multiple tracks using the Korg sounds. My goal of course is simply to use Logic Pro X instead of the Triton’s onboard sequencer.

I am able to setup the first track whereby it records midi in Logic and then successfully plays the sound back via the Triton. However, when I go to add the second instrument, whatever Instrument I select for Track 2 automatically changes it on track 1 as well. Effectively, all tracks default to the single sound I have selected on my Triton. I downloaded some midi environment templates that got me close but I have not been able to figure it out. Is there anyone out there I can pay to perhaps remote in via zoom and help me through this? :(
