XD Module : Strange midi sync with Ableton Live

Dear all

First of all Happy New Year !

I'm just back from the shop with a brand new minilogue XD module.. I have tried different combination to sync with my ableton live setup so that the XD sequencer engage and stay in sync.. Bu not luck.. there is always a kind of "glitch".. I have tried with Midi USB or traditional midi through my Scarlett sound card , I checked all midi parameters ( even local off ) but no luck. As soon as I engage the "Sync" option within LIVE it starts to "glitch" .. when I say glitch it's not drifting, it's simply like syncopated notes... I have seen some posts on internet with the same issue but nobody announce [SOLVED]

I'm using Cubase, but since it's writes you "SOLVED" this problem,
how did you solve this problem ?
I'm thinking of getting external midi clock device for connecting with Minilogue.
