korg x5d X5D EDIT soundtower software

how can i use both X5D EDIT soundtower and cubase while on korg x5d as i can only use one at a time open for the midi and sound transfer and changes to happen yet my buttons on korg x5d some are not working and i use X5D EDIT soundtower software and cubase if can work together to edit and play my korg x5d sounds
