Resonance adjustment

Post by cjban »

In some programs, the resonance is so high that speakers vibrate. Changing params doesn't deem to help. Does someone know which parameter needs adjusted to reduce resonance? A typical example is the Tabla sound. I have tried adjusting the head, and cut reverb, but they done seem to help.

It could be an issue with the speakers. Do you hear the same vibration through headphones, for example?

Resonance is high even in headphones. Vibration is not the main issue, just want to reduce the resonance a bit when hitting hard for some of the sounds..

There is a Damping parameter for the Tabla, available through the Edit mode, which may help. It is best to read the Parameter Guide, to better understand the adjustments available via Edit mode.

Thanks for mentioning this. I checked and realize Tabla has damping controls. Will try it out..
