Reset factory presets!

Post by trollen85 »

Got my very first synthesizer 2 days ago (Wavestate) and immediately started pressing lots of buttons that's how I usually learn. I thought after I restart wavestate all factory presets will restore but i was wrong some presets do not sound like they used to do for example,

Pressing perform > Synth comper now it says on the screen "Synth comper (smplKnb) and sounds strange. Is there any way to restore factory presets to their original form.

The factory presets are write protected, so should be preserved. There are two Synth Komper factory presets; Synth Komper (SmplKnb), and Synth Komper (Arp). Could there be something else connected to the Wavestate that might be affecting the parameters of the Wavestate Performances? The other possibility is that a second Performance has been saved, having the same name (using Shift+Write), but with some user modifications. Going through the Performance list using the Value knob will reveal the presence of more than one Performance having the same name.

The default Set List isn't write-protected, which looks like an oversight.
