Track voices keep changing back
I recorded on my Krome EX a song's midi tracks from Cakewalk. I then changed the track voices on my Krome to the voices I wanted, but they automatically change back to the originally recorded voices. I tried changing the track voices then saving to SD but as soon as I press play in sequencer the voices change back. Please help.
Guidance in deleting unwanted program events appreciated
Thanks for the reply and guidance bpoodoo. What are the steps to deleting the unwanted program change events and where is the unwanted program events located?
This is for Triton, but the same basic steps should work for Krome, though menu selections may be different. Initial program change events are usually in the first measure of a MIDI track and can be removed using Track Edit > Event Edit.
1) Load your .SNG file
2) Enter Sequencer mode
3) Select your song
4) Select Track 1
5) Menu>Track Edit
6) Pull down menu for Event Edit
7) Check "Program Change" only
8 ) Select and cut any Program Change events
9) Repeat 4-8 for other tracks, if necessary.
10) Play sequence and confirm no program change
11) Save .SNG file
1) Load your .SNG file
2) Enter Sequencer mode
3) Select your song
4) Select Track 1
5) Menu>Track Edit
6) Pull down menu for Event Edit
7) Check "Program Change" only
8 ) Select and cut any Program Change events
9) Repeat 4-8 for other tracks, if necessary.
10) Play sequence and confirm no program change
11) Save .SNG file

Thank you!
Thank you so very much bpoodoo for helping me with your detailed instruction. I have been dealing with this issue for two weeks trying to figure out a work around but to no avail. I will try these steps tomorrow first thing.
Your Instructions Worked!
I followed your instructions and it fixed my instrument changing problem just like you said it would. Thank you so very much for helping me out. Now I will try to glue all the hair I pulled out back onto my head trying to figure it out on my own.
