I got my first ever Korg PA-300 arranger in July 2020. Before this keyboard, the only keyboards I have ever played are CASIO keyboard and the Yamaha PSR-295 keyboard. So turning on my Korg PA-300, I was blown away by the beautiful sounds that come from it. I would like to use the songbook feature. I set up the style I want to play my song with. But I am not having luck with the sounds. When I try to assign my own choice of sounds, I can not get it to save that way. It will only allow me to play the sounds on the STS buttons that are pre-selected in the factory. I cannot change them, but I want to change them, to my own selection of sounds.
Is this possible? Any help will be highly appreciated.

Yes you should be able to. My PA3X is currently in storage, so I cannot walk you through the steps, but someone directed me to the Korg Video library to watch the detailed instructions for managing the Songbook. All PA series should work the same.
I hope you've already solved the issue.
