how to use the SLIDERS /mixer

Can any tell me or send me the page in the pa3x manuel on how to use the sliders/ mixer .. i looked through the book but cant find it ..i went to adjust my mic level , fired i click on the slider mode button , which is slider A #5 . but when i moved the slider it cut off my main keyboard sound , & would not come back up in volume .. i am going to the korg page & go thru that manual too
