PA700 v PA600

Post by wiziwiz »

Hi, i am going to buy one or the other, i had just bought a 600 but it was faulty so it was returned, i then considered the 700, which although is above what i want to pay looks very interesting, is there that much of a difference?

I mainly want the keyboard for playing along (guitar & vox) with midi files, editing midi files, so that i can change the instrument, tempo and transpose etc, but i am also seeing things about midi file to style and then edit, can both instruments do this, i also use the keyboard for writing some ditties and recording into Cubase.

Which keyboard or version would you recommend I get please?
Thank you

Sorry if i offend, I also looked at the PSR-SX600 but it did not have midi in/out so the next one up was the SX700 , I have watched a tone of comparison tubes but a lot are from sellers!, and advice would be truly appreciated, thank you

I'd recommend the 700. It is much newer technology than the 600 and it has ability to load and use compressed user samples like this one

I have the Pa700, love it. I have the bigger ones too but the 700 does everything I want it to do. Latest project is downloading Midi files and converting into styles. Then saving into Songbook.

The inbuilt speakers are excellent, great sound. Build quality too.

Hope that helps.
