Bass sound

Post by Stefkorg »

Hy guys, can someone give me a tip how to make from factory sounds "new init" a bass sound. So i prefer a soft bass sound that comes clearly out, anything that is nearby like a real bass guitar. Which factory bass sound should i use, how to mix filters and which efect should i use? Or have someone a good bass sample? Thank you very much

Do you have a link with your preferred bass sound? It's better to understand what you looking for.

What can I distinguish in this poor recording is a Finger Bass. Try to start from Finger Bass 1 from pre-set and edit the Filter EG Velocity to A from 72 to 24. Could be very close to the sounds that you looking for. To have the same layer sounds will have to edit the user scale to obtain the interval between two same program very used in the Balkan area named TERCA. If need more detail please let me know.

There is an EXs 155 Purgatory Creek Soundware E-Basses

I'm using that on, its a lot better than the internal bass sounds :-)

So i finaly made that sound what i want. I have in osc1 Finger bass 1 and layer with slap bass (velocity) and in osc 2 i have acoustic string noise a for the string effect. But that string noise comes to heavy out. Do i need to do something in filter settings or amp setting so that it comes a little bit lighter out so that all matches together? Thanks

For the newly created Program, go to the Control Surface tab, and select the Timbre/Track button at the left hand side of the keyboard, or the EXi1/Exi2 tab on the screen. There should be three controls at bottom left of the screen for setting the levels of the two Oscillators and the Drum Track.
