Knowledge of the past is not needed for knowledge of a current or future situation..
Still his information is wrong. He said he’s done another video just on that subject. Don’t you think people should have their facts straight? Or do you approve of bad information and fake news? Knowledge of what he’s talking IS what’s needed. Especially since he says he’s used the Kronos for a long time.

It seems the Kronos price has recently gone up substantially - maybe that makes it non-competitive so dealers don't want to carry it any more?

I have documentation (receipts) for a Kronos 1 73 going for 3000 USD in 2012, and a Kronos 2 73 going for 2750 USD in 2018. Now Sweetwater has it "discounted" for $3900? From a MSRP of $5700 - wow!

I'm not sure if there's a lot to glean by checking music store in-stock status of keyboards to determine long-term availability of a "new condition" product.

As an example, the MOXF was discontinued by Yamaha in October 2018, yet these keyboards have been available new from Guitar Center (MOXF8) and Sweetwater (MOXF6) even still today. Perhaps they were the designated liquidators for these overproduced models, and they have yet to sell them out.

That said, Guitar Center does list Kronos 73/88 as "Clearance," though the advertised price has not been reduced. "Clearance" might be a clue that they do not intend to purchase more, or they are unable to.

It's anybody's guess when new Kronos keyboard stock will sell out, or when Korg will 'fess up that it is officially discontinued. Those 2 events may occur at the same time.

NAMM 2022 has been rescheduled from January 20-23 to June 3-5.
Hopefully we won't be dealing with the Omega variant then.

I'm not sure, but I think there might be a Kronos replacement? One of the Korg Reps stated during a Nautilus video, that the Nautilus is not a Kronos replacement. He was specific and categorical about this statement. He emphasised it. I'm not sure if the video is still available though. The guy had an Italian name, youngish....he is American I believe.

When was that statement made? Was it in an early Nautilus video or a more recent one? If it was made while the Kronos was still in production, it might have been the company line, to not depress Kronos sales.

On the other hand it might have been a slip up and a reveal. Time will tell. I still think Korg will come out with a Nautilus 2 or EX or whatever, that will add features making it closer to a Kronos.

Guys, Nautilus is not the Kronos successor. Kronos and Nautilus it's something similar when Oasys got discontinued and the M3 was the workstation in production by Korg.

Rich Formidoni does not work anymore for Korg (I mean more than two years). Now it's working for Casio.

I have to wonder. A lot of you guys are itching for a Kronos replacement... but how many of you have mastered the Kronos and maxed out it's capabilities?
