Help to make the best decision!

Post by hans1966 »

Hello friends, I would like your advice regarding a second arranger (I already have the sx900)

The reason is that I want a lighter, cheaper, professional keyboard for my concerts and masses.

the sx900 is a very good keyboard but it's too heavy for me, especially in places where you have to climb stairs due to lack of an elevator.

I am deciding between the pa300 and the pa600.

I personally believe that the pa300 can do the job, since it brings some of the functions of its older brothers, plus it is lightweight.

thank you in advance for your advice

Postscript: the pa300 can record in Mp3?

Cheers
Hans

Pa300 has most of the functions pa600 has..
The biggest negative point for it is that it has a stereo out in 1 jack (you need a splitter cable to connect to a mixer).
If you don't need the extra ram and the price difference is greater than 200 euros , then i would go for the 300 else i would go for the 600...
None of them record mp3 as far as i remember, but both can play back mp3

Pa300 don't have MIDI ports, which making not possible to sync with your SX900, in case you ever want to play on both.
Pa600 is one of the most successful Korg products, is worth every penny.
I own one and don't even think to change for another arranger.

Hi Nemik, good point. I had not noticed.

I bought three months ago a pair of DIN5 Pin MIDI cables.
for the purpose of connecting my SX900 to another keyboard.

Thank you very much for your valuable help.

Cheers
Hans
