Kronos Tutorial: MOD-7 Made Easy

Post by narf »

I bought the MOD7 as an expansion instrument for the Korg OASYS when it first came out but it wasn’t until years into owning the Kronos that it made any sense to me. Once I understood a couple of basic concepts it opened a world of enjoyment for me. I hope this tutorial helps those who still find it a mystery.

Great job, Francis! I was going to make a video that covered the "over all" AMP EG's effect on the individual EGs. Nice to see you hit on that, as well as all the other areas.

This video was so helpful to me! Although I've lots of experience playing synthesizers, I have to admit that I'm a bit daunted by the Kronos. There's so much to it and it really is difficult to understand how to modify sounds.

Your video made this analog part much easier to understand, especially since I used to have a DX7. Thanks again.
