I asked a member of Korg’s staff when a replacement for the 4X was to be released.

Soon, was the response.

That was way back in late 2020.

Korg obviously work to an elongated timescale.

It will be when it will be, meanwhile I look at other keyboards and sigh, if only they included this or that.

Its the 88 keys that cought me.. i was on the verge of selling my Genos and going to a double solution Roland fantom/ketrons sd90 module..

But decided to wait and see what Korg is goind to deliver in the 88 key department.. choice of keybed is very important for me.. the high end fatar keybeds have made a huge step forward

I believe that the pics of the 5X are real, taken by a low resolution, spy-type hidden camera during a private showing of the new KB and that there will be three sizes, 61,76, & 88. The 16 pads will be like the now-defunct Casio MZ-X500 had, which should be a welcome feature.

Again, I don't know anything, and it is all conjecture; however, it seems it is getting closer to realism day by day!

Hidden spycams, thats something from the past, today we have mobilephones..

I agree with you the pics look real..

Pads are incredibly usefull.. but i would have preferred them on the left side.. between the joystick and the sliders..

And then to the right side of the screen, 8 endless rotation knobs.. with some other rearangements of that side.

That Casio, indeed had a very wicked interface and featureset.. however, the keybed ruined all fun for me, but then i am spoiled having pkayed high end quality keys for two decades and more

Looking at these cr*ppy videos & leaked pics, it appears that we'll be getting an update of the same old, same old, as expected, and not a new long awaited hardware platform as Korg seems to be catering to its bread & butter income streams! Sigh! Oh, well, we'll enjoy what we get, anyway!

Well guys if this is from KORG who the hell have permission to make a video of it and share on YouTube !!!

And if it’s not from KORG then who is this person behind the videos?
We can obviously see that they just build another version of the PA4X that is on the same operating system as before and for sure same motherboard etc.

And that makes me Even more confused why can’t a company like korg make something better and new ,

About the operating system!!!
They are obviously building the new thing on the existing and just increasing it with some minor add Ons.

If it’s not from KORG and somebody is just playing with our brain cells then why can’t Korg go out with an information about it.
For me this is really confusing and of course very bad way to introduce new KB

Very bad marketing because I don’t think there is anyone on this planet that can show these videos without a permission from KORG company
Because of that I am considering to dropp this brand for a while.

This is not funny anymore,
Back in days we ware so excited, waited and than we ware so happy, NOW its like a game between KGB and CIA and Pentagon.

Emotions are running far too high for the KGB or the CIA here.... Assumption is the mother of all f****ups so why allow yourself to make such broad assumptions when you have no idea what the final outcome will be... ((((Relax)))) and allow logic to help you make your final decisions when the time comes after any analysis where you can evaluate correctly once we have a official release, otherwise you may be jumping off the edge of cliff far too early
