And if it’s not from KORG then who is this person behind the videos?
We can obviously see that they just build another version of the PA4X that is on the same operating system as before and for sure same motherboard etc.

And that makes me Even more confused why can’t a company like korg make something better and new ,

About the operating system!!!
They are obviously building the new thing on the existing and just increasing it with some minor add Ons.

If it’s not from KORG and somebody is just playing with our brain cells then why can’t Korg go out with an information about it.
For me this is really confusing and of course very bad way to introduce new KB

Very bad marketing because I don’t think there is anyone on this planet that can show these videos without a permission from KORG company
Because of that I am considering to dropp this brand for a while.

This is not funny anymore,
Back in days we ware so excited, waited and than we ware so happy, NOW its like a game between KGB and CIA and Pentagon.

Emotions are running far too high for the KGB or the CIA here.... Assumption is the mother of all f****ups so why allow yourself to make such broad assumptions when you have no idea what the final outcome will be... ((((Relax)))) and allow logic to help you make your final decisions when the time comes after any analysis where you can evaluate correctly once we have a official release, otherwise you may be jumping off the edge of cliff far too early :)
hahahaha, YES Maybe better, But come oooon, 7 years, Stil the same looking OS!
I hope it,s better Looking inside of it, like 50,k samples, better FX s, better sounds, more ram etc.

There's no bad Korg marketing just a bunch of blurred pictures and videos from which we can deduce nothing and from an unknown source.

If this SERIOUSLY was Korg's way of "new release teasing", then they need to dismiss all their marketing team and totally sell up to a professional company.
Anyhow, I do not believe that to be the case and I can't imagine Korg would have been that unprofessional and "given permission" for these useless crap videos/pictures to be released.

If we talk about "Same Old OS", then look at the Tyros/Genos. These companies need to keep their existing clients excited and also attract new ones - that's not easy.
So, as my OP - upgrade or new? Can they combine both?

These ridiculous pictures & videos are to be ignored. Korg may even release a PA with a whole new name.
They'll tell us when they're ready.

We all have a wish-list for a new model however it will also need to be a significant enhancement for it to be financially viable.
Compare the i30 with the PA4X - we are deep in high tech music gear now - very very different.
Does the world want an all-in-one keyboard?
I so hope Korg keep producing these arrangers as standalone devices and we don't end up needing iPads/tablets/internet to play at a gig!!!

^^ Well said, Pete. These photos/videos have been the same regurgitated crap all the way along. I can't believe there are people getting excited over them.

Korg updated the 4X with Next to give it a new lease of life.

At the time it was expected that the 700 & 1000 would receive their versions of Next, but since these models were released there have been minor changes.

Korg has to respond to the Yamaha’s Genos, SX900, SX700, SX600 which have been released

Failure to do so is the death nell to Korg Arrangers

There was somewhere information that in korg pa5x there is no synchro START/STOP buttons.
Those buttons are on the left (above the accompaniament module)
