Hello Dom,
I used to own a Triton Classic until about 2008 & have loads of stuff in sng format. Recently, a friend of mine shared this link about Korg Triton software for PC, which probably plays the files. I'm yet to try this over the weekend. However, I'm posting the link hereunder for your utility as well :

Try this out & let me know if it works.

Cheers mate.

Better to not make assumptions about whether something works just because people think it should or are told that it should.

KORG Collection - TRITON / TRITON Extreme VSTs cannot load .SNG or .PCG files.

What I know will work is a .SNG sequencer file created on a Triton Classic can be loaded into a Triton Rack, Pro, ProX, Studio, or Extreme. The .SNG will sound exactly the same when played back on any of these Tritons if the Triton Classic preload .PCG file has been loaded and the .SNG file uses only unmodified Triton Classic preload programs. From Sequencer mode, the song can be saved as a .MID file or played back, sampled, and saved as a .WAV file.
