Upgrading the Triton OS from 1.1.1 / loop issues.

Hey all.
I have a Triton, serial number 012951 OS 1.1.1 and there seems to be an issue with the loop function.
Factory reset is an option, but would like to know if I will lose anything if I do.

Would the best option be to update the OS? 1.1.1 would be 1999 I am guessing.
