low clock battery warning .?

i saw this warning for the first time today ... ' low clock battery warning ' ..?

how difficult is it to replace that battery .. ?? i have never opened up my Kronos in the 10 years i've had it ...

tried the Search function ... got no where

looks easy enough to change out ...

anything else i should do whilst under the hood .. ??

would to have that before the unscrewing begins .. !

Nope - shouldn't be anything else you need to do under the hood whilst you're there. Of course, if there's anything niggling you, it's a good time to fix little things like dirty pots and so on.

One tip though: Although the battery replacement is stupidly simple, if you have the 61 key version especially, the screws need to be tightened in a particular order during reassembly or else everything will end up slightly askew. Search for the PDF Service manual for the tightening sequence.
