Connect SQ64 to Nord Lead A1

Hi, I bought an SQ64 some days ago. I want to connect it to my Nord Lead A1, but nothing happens. I am connecting MIDI OUT1 from SQ64 to MIDI IN on Nord Lead, but no sound is produced. I checked that MIDI channel is 1 on each side. I believe I am doing something wrong, but no idea what is missing. Anyone can help me please? Thank you!

Check that the MIDI Out port being used on the SQ64 has been enabled. If it has, is a Type-A MIDI converter cable being used for the connection between SQ64 and the Nord Lead? If so, using a multimeter, check that the cable doesn't have any broken connections.
