Can't get Wavestate Native (VST) to work with Reason 12

Post by Mellontikos »

I have a few of the Korg Legacy Plugins: M1, Wavestation, Triton/Triton Extreme, and I just bought the Wavestate Native.

Every plug-in works great with Reason 12, except the Wavestate plug-in. Reason just can't see it at all! So I can't use the Wavestate with my Reason tracks :(

Anyone have any ideas what I could try?

Reason does not support VST3 plug-ins, unfortunately.

Thanks Dan.

Yes, I found out Reason 12 STILL does not have VST3 support (how lame).

BUT I found a workaround. There's a software called "Metaplugin" which is just a wrapper to run one VST, or many VST's in chain. The cool thing about this is that you can load a VST3 into it, and Reason will now see it as a VST2.

So I got the Wavestate working with Reason! YAYYY!!
