Yeah, as other’s have stated. We already knew the prices we’re going to be higher than usual. Everything is expensive now a days. So I wasn’t suprised, when I saw the price on the website.

Hello
First post and joining the ranks of many, anxiously following this almost resolved "saga" :?

I am hoping that the Pa5X-88 version comes with aftertouch!

"Down under" pre-orders already coming:

https://www.bashsmusic.com.au/product/k ... rranger-2/

Cheers

I also expect bugs hahahaha
I will write some more in depth things when i ll have hands on experience.
Also i have uploaded a video (maybe more if i find time to finish it before it gets official) that i ll make public once it is out with some things i already know.
For now all i can say is that the stereo imaging it produces is not like any other korg released (not even kronos in my opinion) and sound clarity / headroom is like that too.
Also some of the rumors are true like SST.
More when i ll have it here in my home studio and do actual hands on tests.

Its been seven years, did you look outside your window how expensive everything else got?
Even when you calculate everyting with price raisement indexes it's expensive. Far more than decent calculations and even when using the rough, profit-making calculations it's expensive.

Korg oasys was double the price (8000-8500USD).
Also it was the only one on that price range...
Pa5x will not be the only one in its price range...
The competitor (Yamaha Genos) is at the same price even if it is old generation and getting no updates.

Pa1200 or whatever it ll be called , is at least 2 years away (i d say 3) as always!

KORG OASYS cost ~6500 Euro (76keys) and ~7000 Euro (88keys) back in 2006. Of course it was much more money but people had more to spend back then. Now, that everything is more expensive and salaries are lower I think it makes more difficult to spend 4500 - 5000 Euro for an instrument!

Hmmm, looks like the website that had the Korg Pa5x listed yesterday, has now removed the post? Or atleast, I can’t find it anymore. Could it be that people were clicking/sharing the link. Either way, this was the website it was on https://www.strumentimusicali.net/

That'd be really nice. Hope you get a chance to write about your experience soon.

You're right, looks like they have edited and removed the PA5X models from the webshop.
The price was listed like this:
88 keys: €4999
76 keys: €4599
61 keys: €4299

( Genos is to find at same site at 'normal price' €5039, now 12% off to €4399 )
Cheers 🥂

I wouldn't get attached to above prices. Above prices mislead end user.
The final prices will be much lower, and that is the good news.
Genos was always overpriced
