User manual is garbage.....
I downloaded the Pa5X/Performance Guide to check out the new features but it doesn't contain any information about many things like: Sound generation... / Edit or Record a new style ..... lots of information are missing
I don't know if there a full manual PDF on the way.... The strange thing is the name of the manual "Performance guide" that's what I've never seen before.
Thank you usaraivausaraiya wrote:It's only a Quick Start Guide, NOT a full manual. Korg UK said that it is coming soon!

i am not talking about Quick start guide
there is another manual called "Performance Guide"

Anyway, it's good to know there's another manual on the way

I think we got PA4.5 not PA5 regarding to OS yet...
I am waiting for all the features to be implemented first (like quantize in style edit along with other things that is missing or i am stupid and i can't find it)...
I m sure they ll need some time to get everything working as it should but i am also sure that they will do it..
Give it 3 to 6 months (maybe even less).
At least it hasn't crashed on me yet at all and it sounds way better even with old sets if you make use of all the new features!
Huge plus the stereo samples that make a lot of things easier!

Yes I got it right after it was announced.ANAFREE wrote:musiccankill Do you got one? I feel jealousI trust that Korg will add all the missing features very soon.
I m sure they ll add everything with updates but currently, function wise, it is not even on par with pa3 (no locked sets, style record with a lot of bugs and unusable cause of too many missing functions )...
I couldn't even find an undo on a recording in the style record...
Not even mute track ..Maybe they are somewhere else but i couldn't find them..

Why all this fuzz..
Isn’t it obvious that the real manual is not released yet.
Korg are the kings of manuals,
No reason why this will be different this time
So, can we stop complaining now?

.SET files
Thank you for your post, I'm not sure I understand how the Pa5X makes use of a .SET file from a Pa4X. Have you done this please?musiccankill wrote:...and it sounds way better even with old sets if you make use of all the new features!

You likely know much more than I do, but in reference to muting tracks. I thought I viewed a few video references that showed you can Mute Tracks through the Matrix Buttons.musiccankill wrote: Not even mute track ..Maybe they are somewhere else but i couldn't find them..
Might need to bring up the Mixer Page, but I believe the capability is there.

Mute track, can be done trough matrix, or the programmable buttons under the sliders. And also on the screen..davekalbach wrote:You likely know much more than I do, but in reference to muting tracks.
