Dumb Question!
How do I import a WAV file into a song directly via USB?
I'll check that out. I've got a Kronos I in studio and when I work up songs in the sequencer I save them to the hard drive as well as a flash drive. Then I insert that flash drive into a Kronos II that's always on the road and try to import the new data (including WAV) in the road machine as a song. I can "Load" the WAV and play it, but have been unable to import it as audio tracks in a song file. Would like to have mirror data on both Kronos for obvious reasons.KK wrote:Another way is to connect your Kronos as an FTP entity - see the Network tab in Global mode (page 778 in the parameter guide). You can then more quickly copy, delete or move files between your Kronos and your computer, load wave files in Sequencer mode, etc.

Stick in a USB and copy your WAV to the internal disk. On the Track Edit page, you will open the Audio Event Editor and import the WAV to the song. Example can be seen here, at 2:22 mark:

After you do that, I believe you can just copy the Song (Seq & Song) to your 2nd Kronos. Songs create their own Audio Track folders, when audio is added.
