Transfer songs from D1600 to another D1600

Post by feelergaugephil »

Hi, I just replaced the HD on my aging D1600 and using it for gigs, how can I transfer all my songs (40 songs) to a back up D1600 which I can use if my main D1600 crashes...
Thanks in advance.
Phil.

I have a D32XD, but the system should work much the same. You can make a backup of the entire drive, or you can backup just your 40 songs.

You can do this easily through the Computer Connection USB in the back. I think the Command is USB Slave. This will bring up the KORG Drive on your computer where you can simply COPY files.

Its a USB B connection and it's fairly slow (fast for its time), but it works.
