I have been trying to find a way to tidy up the various program banks on my Kronos, remove any duplicate programs and delete any programs that I will not use.
I have the Kronos Editor 3.1 installed on my iMac and can see all the programs in each bank. I wondered if there was a way of exporting all the program names in each bank to an excel spreadsheet, so that it would be easier to sort and manage them ?
Having searched online, I came across a similar query. The suggestion was to create an XML midnam file – the person that posted the query then commented that the xml file created by the editor in midnam format can easily be edited in excel.
So, I clicked the XML midnam button in the editor and saved the file as “KRONOS.midnam". However, this file cannot be opened as an excel file.
The file can be opened as a word document; however, when I opened my word application and tried to open the file, a message appeared – “We’re sorry. We cannot open the document KRONOS.midnam because we found a problem with its contents. No error detail available. Location : Line 2, Column : 9"
Firstly, has anyone been able to export the XML midnam file so that it can be opened in excel ?
If not, do you know how I can open the file in word document, given the error message mentioned above ?
Thanks for your help

Hi, perhaps my little tool PCGrid can be of help.
It is Java based and should run on a Mac.
You can find more info below:
http://www.korgforums.com/forum/phpBB2/ ... ght=pcgrid
There's a manual included.
The tool is rather old, so I hope you don't run into compatibility issues.
It would be great if you find it useful.
Good luck!
Kind regards,
KorganizR
