Realtime Control in Combi mode

Post by Valles »

Hi everyone,

Is there any way to apply realtime control i.e: cutoff, resonance, etc... per instrument or part ...without affecting the whole performance?

Many thanks

In Combi you'll need to do a couple of things:

- ensure the parameter you want to change in the timbre is linked to the appropriate real time controller (eg you have a synth sound in Timbre 2 and allocate Knob 1 to change the Cutoff). You should be able to do this in Control Surface

- go to P3 Midi Filter / Zones, Midi Filter and Uncheck the real time controller for all timbres except the one you want to be able to influence (eg in the above example, all Timbres except Timbre 2.

- Ensure you select Timbre/Track on the Control Surface on the front of the Kronos before saving the Combi. This button enables the Real Time Knobs
