Sound in Combi changes tone when outputted to 3/4 HELP

This is driving me crazy, I understand that if there are effects on a sound and in Combi mode it's outputted to 1/2 in IFX instead of L/R that it can sound different.

However: I'm taking Program I-E068 "Dark Bass" and bringing it into a fresh combination, not selecting "Copy Effects" when I bring it into the Combi, and it sounds "Dark" like it should.

When I then go into IFX in the new combi and select 1/2 output instead of L/R, the sound is much brassier like a synth instead of a dark bass sound.

I don't see any effects applied that could be getting lost when assigned to 1/2 output vs L/R, why is the tone changing??

Please advise, thank you!

PS: I'm already using 3/4 outputs so I have to use 1/2 for this.

Are there any MFX/TFX applied to the bass sound copied from the Program that are missing from the chain direct to 3/4?

Guessing you'll have a couple of slots available if you need to copy those into the chain…!
