I've run a search before posting this thread but couldn't pick up it was covered before.
I am looking for a way to look into the pattern files (e2spat ?) of ES2 withing computer.
Basically in my case in order to track back the positions of samples that wer'e not exported to .all files before shutting down - I figure out if I could look into the settings of each pattern and see rather it tells the samples name (and position -s o by reloading each sample to its correct position I wouldn't experience patterns with blank parts
But anyhow a way to edit patterns in the computer could be nice and handy
thanks!

Look for posts by Xanadu.
He once posted a pattern editor done in Max4Live:
http://www.korgforums.com/forum/phpBB2/ ... hp?t=95368
Not sure it's still working after the 2016 updates (which added a few params), but he posted most of his findings in the first thread anyway:
http://www.korgforums.com/forum/phpBB2/ ... p?t=106841
The hacktribe scripts could help:
https://github.com/bangcorrupt/hacktrib ... in/scripts
Apiel also proposed an online web visualizer that could easily be made standalone (no need for server side stuff):
http://www.korgforums.com/forum/phpBB2/ ... p?t=126630
All this means the current E2/E2SPAT file format has been reverse engineered and can be manipulated offline (i.e. in a computer) already.
