Can Assignable knob 1 or 2 control all 3 upper sounds?

Post by moebrand »

Hi everyone,
I was wondering if there is a way to assign one of the knobs 1 or 2 to control the volume of all 3 upper sounds at the same time .
As you know Some keyboard sounds contain 3 layer sounds and they can get louder then the styles and accompaniment tracks , I know that the balance knob could be used to adjust the sounds , but it doesn’t sound good enough .
Thanks!

The Upper Sound volume sliders can be linked together, to proportionally change all Upper Sounds with a single slider, after you have selected the Upper Volume Link checkbox (Mixer/Tuning > Volume/Pan --> manual page 156).
kind regards

I don't have anymore Pa1000 but as I remember you can assign the Volume
of all Upper1,2,3 to an Assignable knob.
Of course you should check mark (as siebenhirter mentioned) Upper Volume Link.
PS: In Pa1000 there is only Virtual sliders no physical sliders.

Volume Settings in PA1000

Post by hirenkg »

1. Why volume changes for the pads before starting a style and after starting a style? How to increase pads volume.

2. What situation would you prefer to do linkable tones versus individual once, and how to increase upper3 volume and lower chord volume using knobs-as only 1 and 2 are controllable via knob?

3. Is it possible so that tone volume that are set do not change before style is started and after it is started? or It is expected behavior.

press shift

Post by duby2 »

like the pa4x one slider can do this just by press shift and move just one slider . will do the same as the Upper Volume Link checkbox..

the pa1000 has no slider . but the on screen slider work the same way ...

just saying .
