Many of us need to edit and custom styles and settings.
Sorry to say but it seems that the ignorant here is you ...
Navigate yourself in Pa2x-Pa5X sections and post and tips of mine of late 12 years to realize how basic user I am ...
I'm already in Styles creating and editing procedure of hundreds of very advanced Styles of WavesArt Pa5X commercial Ethnic
full packs of 3 & 8 Gbs , that will be released soon with no issues after OS v1.2 , so my advice remains the same , it's time
for Pa4X power users to upgrade. :D

Sure, everyone should buy Pa5X only when it is usable to them. Not a year earlier. And that's different for every user. For example, I was preparing my kids for a keyboard competition this spring. We had a Pa600 and it started to become unreliable, its keys stopped responding reliably. I had to buy a new instrument in December. What would you recommend? I was deciding between the Pa1000 and the Pa5X, I chose the Pa5X even though I knew it was still in development. Compared to the Pa600 it is a huge improvement. The Pa4X wasn't on the market anymore, and even if it was, I would still choose the Pa5X. But I understand that a Pa4X owner may decide differently. You may think the Pa5X does less than it can do. For a long time I thought the Pa5X couldn't change tempo in style variations. That bothered me, on the Pa600 it did. It wasn't until a few months later that I found out that it can be done on the Pa5X, it's just done a little differently.

o... a greatly enhanced sample memory
o... a superb graphical user interface improvement
o... option of 88 note fully weighted keyboard version

It seems to me that these technology improvements might enable Korg to lead the market with e-Grand pianos in future. Can any Pa5x owner tell me ... What is the best grand piano on the Pa5x like compared with the Italian Grand on the Pa4x?
piano's are indeed very subjective, for instance I don't like the roland piano sound. My favorite piano sound on the pa5X is the austrian grand, that was also my favorite on the korg kronos (which you have to buy as an expansion which I did)

That is a huge benefit of the pa5x, the pianos and also the electric pianos, they sound amazing.

The resonance and rx features are in a separate sound in the keyboard set so you can add them at will, there is no resonance model like in the kronos, in the pa5x it's sample based.

You can see and hear the examples in my piano tutorial for the pa5x.

Due to be more accurate Qui , there is only Sympathetic Resonance algorithm modeling that can be applied only in SGX-2 Kronos piano engine.
This kind of resonance as samples based could not exist in Kronos or Pa5X 'cause samples should be activated by certain notes and script
so can only be applied in software VST samplers like Kontakt.

I also do not agree in this specific algorithm frequency generation that is applied at Kronos , it does not fit to premium grand pianos I have
sampled at latest 17 years , I have also calculated myself using Physics sympathetic Resonance of 2 famous pianos and proved totally
different and inaccurate to use them in Grand Piano sound development , just a fancy feature in VST modeling that was abandoned.

Classic Resonance are the required pallet of samples that we have to use when Piano sustain pedal is pressed.

Note : Sympathetic Resonance is the phenomenon where when a note oscillates it forces other notes that share the same overtone
harmonic frequencies to also oscillate slightly and you can meet it in Strings instruments.
