I do not believe this until i see it. Last update for PA1000/700 was in 2019. It would be very unusual to get such big update at this stage of the product lifecycle... Unless they are not planning to create PA5X generation midrange arrangers but just to update existing one(s). I read on this forum that HW wise PA5X is similar to PA700/1000, so in theory it makes sense, keep selling what you have and avoid spending money on R&D. That would be indeed a cheapest solution, make people happy with some extra memory for samples and keep squeezing the lemon to the last drop and sell the same old HW.
