Anybody?????
This is getting really frustrating!
Just to reiterate, In the Control Section, The Mic Volume and MicFX Sliders are not working.
I have looked in detail at the manual but can't see any mention (a search index at the back of the manual like in the old paper manuals would help!!)
I must at some stage have selected this mode as they were working last week, but I can't see what that selection was to put it back as it was before.

thanks

It's impossible to answer any question online, and the knowledge level of the pa5x is on some topics quite low in the community, so don't expect answers within a few days on forums or facebook.

But to answer your question (2 possibilities):

Microphone
- press the main button
- set the view button to the sliders
- on switch 1 you see Mic, this has to be set to ON
- on switch 3 you see the MicFx , set this to OFF to disable your harmony processors and reverbs and delays and your own voice, set it to ON if you want to hear your vocal processors

Probably you have switched these off (most likely switch 1)

OR

you have changed the behavior of the sliders from jump to catch.
Controllers
- press the settings button
- press the menu button
- select the controllers tile
- select the hand tab
- set the value to jump in the slider & pedal section (middle of the page)

Hi, and thanks for the response.
I tried both of your suggestions but neither of neither them work.

What I have is the Mic volume set quite high (100) in the mix and the reverb/echo on ( 50 ).
But the sliders do not lower the volume or the MicFX.

On the touch screen if I select Control I can change move the virtual sliders from there.

Yes!!!!!! Found It (while looking for something else )
Settings - Menu - General Controls - Start Up..... and for some reason the Mic and MicFX boxes were ticked meaning that they were disabled at start up.

thanks all for you help, hope this helps somebody else.
