4,200? How did you get it so cheap. You could sell it for that or more easily on gear exchange or locally. The 61 will run 5,100 after tax if i were to buy it right now. 1 just sold on gear exchange for 4,300 + 200.00 shipping, yes it was used.

I got my PA5X 88Key (used for 3 months) for $4400. Touch wood, I have not seen any kind of issues with the buttons, lighting, hangups etc.,

I had 2 times bad experiences with TSA when flying to New York. They badly opened/closed my Pa4X's display and I paid from my pocket for the reparations.
I am wondering if they don't have any kind of scanner for inspection instead of opening the keyboards.
To be fair, TSA may not have touched your screen. The screen can open when the keyboard is jostled in "normal" baggage transfer. Many musicians that I know will tape the screen down before flying to prevent this, and I've started to do so as well, after having this happen.. The procedure is to place a cloth over the screen and then use masking tape to hold it and the screen down. Since I've started doing this, I've had no issues with the screen opening.

That happened two times to me with display while traveling.
It's a good advice and I'll do tape the display next time when flying and will check it when arriving if it was not opened by TSA.
Actually it happened to me a third time last year when traveling to Canada, and this time was worst because the screen went dark and nothing shown in the screen.
I noticed it when I was on the gig with crowded people, it was a nightmare.
I had to select blindly the styles by memory... :x
When came back I paid a technician to fix it, a cable of display was disconnected.
FYI, I use a very good hard flight-case for traveling.

Thanks for your suggestion.

Please update about which country you're in and how they resolve the issue. My second PA5X is currently at Korg and I'm waiting to hear how they wqill address the issue. The third PA5X (which they sent me as a replacement for my first over this issue) has started showing the issue on two buttons, which is better than on the previous two, but is still not ideal and I'm concerned that the issue will appear on additional buttons as well, as it took longer to appear this time around.

Yes. I bought the very first Pa5X in Scotland when they got launched.
I basically have a £4k housebrick lying here because I can't trust it on a gig :(

I bought a brand new Pa700. I sold it and now I bought a brand new Pa1000 because I can't trust Pa5X for live gigs!!
It's insane!! I regret I sold my Pa4X back in Covid days.
Pa5X is a great arranger but, it needs much work from KORG in order to work right!

Dimitris

Totally agree - Korg's silence and absence of any PA5x serious progress has been unacceptably too long and leaves me wondering who is actually left in Italy sorting this out....
