Korg N1 internal battery

Post by ErN1 »

Hello there.

I wanna ask if there's an internal battery or ROM battery on a Korg N1, and where it can be located?

N1 internal battery???

Post by kjralyea »

Hi ErN1...did you ever get a reply to your post concerning an internal battery in the N1 or N5ex? Mine is 24 years old, and is still working. Is it possible a battery can last THAT long? Please let me know.

I opened my N1R recently and could not find any battery on the circuit board. I think the N1R uses flash memory to store the configuration parameters and user patches, therefore it doesn't need a battery.
