ARP hold with sustain pedal in a combination - any ideas?

I'm using Combinations for performance. I need to trigger an arp in a lower keyboard zone, push damper pedal (sustain) and make it hold, so the arp keeps playing, while I play piano (which also is sustained but without arp). But just enabling damper pedal in MIDI filters isn't working.

Currently, the synth bass that I need the arp on is on channel 4, and that's what the arp is set to output to. But because the sustain is on global channel 1, it doesn't affect the arp - only the piano. But if I set the arp to work on channel 1, then it works on the piano, which I don't need.

Any ideas how to do it? In my previous synth - Roland FA-08, in performances you could just enable sustain on selected channels and it held the arp just fine. Another limitation I found is that arp only works within the key zone. As my keyboard is split, it would be very useful to let it play whatever octaves beyond the zone, but it doesn't do that. If I want a running arpeggiator I have to dedicate a huge part of the keyboard to it, and I don't see another way.

Am I missing something, or are both of those things impossible in a combination?

I have exactly the same problem and I saw that no one has answered you.
I would like to be able to let the arpeggiator play with the "latch" function on a certain part of the keyboard, and use my two hands to play another sound on another zone while keeping the arpeggiator running, but that's not the case. is not possible, as soon as I play the other zone without holding the notes of the arpeggiator, it stops.
Were you able to find the solution? or someone else?

Hi ! Arp pattern could work independent by the Key Zone. Press MORE in the Arp/Drum > Scene Setup and will find Timbre Zone Bypass. If need more help please contact me. Will show you on Skype or so...

Hey Dan: This Arp problem sort of aligns with what I've been trying to figure out. Okay. Here goes: I use the scene buttons to change sounds. What I would like to do is have a string sound on scene one, press down sustain pedal holding the strings sound, hit scene two button which is a piano sound, while still holding the sustain pedal down the piano does not sustain. I would like to have both sounds sustain while holding down pedal when changing scene buttons from strings to piano. Hope I explained this well. Thanks, Dan.

When change the scene actually you change the midi Ch to second timbre right? In this case the previous damper action is on different midi ch so have to press the damper again. For this kind of transition personally I requested the Mute/Solo zone and thanks to dev team we have it in the Nautilus. That controls are available in SW 1/2 controller Mixer. So could have the strings and piano on the same Ch (Gch). Piano status mute. Controller timbre 2 Mute check. If press the SW Mute/Unmute zone will unmuted the piano. Also you could switch the timbre 1 to timbre 2 using Controller mixer SOLO on SW. Select the solo for Timbre 2 in Controller setup. Status of timbre 2 must be MUTE. So Only Timbre 1 Play. Pressing SW, Timbre 2 which is muted will change the status to Solo. So only timbre 2 will play.

Other method:

In the Timbre Parameter > Wave Seq/Arp we have Arp Timbre off Control. So using the arp button some timbre could be off and other on. Select "by off" for timbre 1 and "by on" for timbre 2 and will switch the timbre 1 to 2 using Arp button without any sound cut and continues damper function.
That is my recommendation, personally I use scene for building a progression, change some arp patterns, drum patterns, change some auto loop in DT or sampling loop using DT, vocoder on, FX comp/limiter side chain on/off, FX gate on/off and others.
