D3200 DBK backups

Post by anatiferous »

My 3200 has served me well over the years, and continues to do so.
However I am increasingly aware that if it were to fail, it may not be repairable.

While I have many backed up songs in the DBK format, that would not help me if I cannot obtain another D3200... and they are all this old

The task of exporting the waves for various tracks is tedious (and I have probably missed bits and pieces..), and I have quite a lot of songs to go through.

Somebody did write a DBK extractor program a while ago, but the only links to that I have found are dead.
Does anybody know anything about the DBK file format, or know who at Korg I could try contacting?

Hi, just checking if you ever came up with a solution regard extracting the tracks from your Korg DBK song backup files? I have a somewhat similar situation and I can't find any resources to extract the song tracks from the DBK.[/quote]
