I am looking to replace my M50 88 for either a Kross 2 or a Krome, and this in itself is a difficult decision to make.
But, I also need to replace my very old but wonderful LE61 Triton. Her screen is barely readable, and it needs 10 minutes to warm up before it plays in "stereo" through the mono output or headphone output. She has dents and scratches from 2 decades of gigging and I feel it is time she was retired from public life.
But, 20 minutes of playing this incredible instrument makes me think it was way ahead of its time. I still think many of the programs and combis still sound great even against some very expensive competition. I will soon be able to afford to buy a MODX6 so this is my first choice, but boy I will still miss the incredible power of the much underrated LE61. Like I said - way ahead of its time!

Yes it was ahead of its time. Even now, I think of buying one.
I wish my M3 & Kronos had 1 on-board arpeggiator outside Karma.
The LE had 2 of them! And what wonderful combis it had.
I composed some fun tunes on mine.
