Korg Kronos X problem

Post by Denis_vu »

Hello friends!

I have Kronos X 61. The keyboard behaves strangely. Everything works fine, but some strange colors appeared on the screen. Which vibrate. Below is the video. Has anyone had similar experiences and what could be the problem?

Thanks everyone!

That is definitely strange, I’ve never seen anything like that before. Continue to do regular backups just in case things get worse. You may need to see a technician to solve your issue. Sorry 😬

Obviously you are out of warranty. Back up your data. If you feel confident, open the unit and check all the connectors, the RAM seating and make sure any visible fasteners (screws/nuts) are secure. Do you gig this unit or move it regularly?

Could be caused by several factors. I would start by checking loose connectors to the LCD, voltages a bit too low or noisy from the power supply who might need new capacitors or complete replacement, etc.
