Every few months, I notice that the Korg Forum website goes down for a week and then comes back on.

Is this a normal pattern? I have seen no comments on this.

As sn IT guy I can tell that it is not normal.

The forum tends to go down with some regularity, and this used to occur quite predictably, on Microsoft's "Update Tuesday", patch update day. Lately, this has occurred less often. Bear in mind that the website is not commercially managed, but is here through the kind voluntary efforts of Sharp, the forum administrator, and Korg, who allow the hosting of the forum on their servers. There has been some discussion, at various times over the years, about the forum's future.
