I'm sorry if I misunderstand your question, but I'm assuming you are asking if you load an MP3 file (created by a DAW or downloaded from the net) to player1 of the 5X and wants to save it in a different key? (original Cm to new key Dm?...).
I don't think you can do that with the 5X. But, I think if you use the transpose button to transpose it to the new key you want to play, then, record it to a new MP3 using the 5X.
It's just a thought, as I haven't done that. May be you should try it if it works for you.

MP3 Transpose
No one is understanding.
I am saying I download an MP3 like a Karaoke MP3 and use it in my set list. But instead of having to push the transpose button every time I want to save it in the new key so it loads in that key from thereon

I don't think it can be done in any Pa keyboard. In fact, I've never heard of any workstation doing it or any arranger keyboard. But it is easy to do on a PC and then transfer via a USB to the keyboard. Very easy to do.
What I do (and have done for many years) is use a cheap program (and there are many) on a PC and transpose them to the desired key I desire. Using the program on the PC is so much better because I can also EQ and Compress the MP3 to make it sound better and to fix levels.
If you transpose an MP3 it will always, because of reverb and delay and other effects, cause it to change how it sounds in strange ways. You can minimize and improve the transposed mp3 with these programs. All the Pa series does is transpose them. But you can't go very far before they are unuseable.
Recently I've been doing some work on MP3s changing transposition and speed on the Pa5x and just small changes causes audio glitches making the results unusable. The Pa5x definitely is not working correctly yet. I don't have the same problems with my Pa4x. So, for the Pa5x, I really do suggest that you use a PC program to make your changes. I finally did the changes using Pitch Switch and it came out great. Of coarse, I'm not having any transpose/speed problems with the Pa4x. But the PC is a better work around anyway.
I use Audacity, which is free and Pitch Switch which costs a little bit but is by no means expensive. But there are many others.

perhaps it´s a little bit easier if you're at your keyboard:
Just make a new MP3 Record (see manual page 763ff.) and before that load your desired mp3 in player1; transpose to fit the tuning and record...
The result may not be the best quality because of artefacts but it´s a very straight forward way.
Regards
Tim

transposition.
In the songbook on the keyboard if you load an MP3 you could save the transposition.
kronos_timmmy
is correct it might sound funny going up too high or too low but I save it all the time.
One thing you cannot save which I do not like is the tempo of a mp3.
And there's no reason why korg did not add this.

That's why I use the PC programs. Higher quality and you can fix or adjust the levels, compress it, equalize it, change it's speed (with no glitches), etc, then save it to the format you want. And the programs get updated frequently unlike korg. It is so simple to do on a PC and then it's canned the way you want it. But to each his/her own.
