The Korg Pa5x is just as well advertised. Basically, you get everything, and when you add it all up, you can't even use half of it. The instrument is totally confused. I will not comment on the OS-system. It is full of bugs and errors. That keyboard will never be totally fine, 99%. I think that a new Korg arranger will be released soon, and the Pa5x will remain a keyboard with unsolvable problems.
What a load of Dross, this person is a Troll.
It is not as though Korg has a huge team of programmers capable of working on updating the OS.
Korg simply do not update their arrangers with the regularity that Yamahahaha do! The 700 and 1000 have been around since 2017 and still there is no sign of them being replaced.
I would guess that the Pa5X will continue in production for at least the remaining decade. Given that the market for the product is probably 95% home players for whom it is the greatest keyboard since sliced bread was invented.
Dross, you say....
Your justifications for Korg's actions are to put it mildly entertaining. As you have rightly pointed out, Korg would be well-advised to emulate Yamaha's truly professional practices.
In regards to the expression "sliced bread," while it may hold true for some individuals, it is important to acknowledge that many respected individuals believe we have not yet reached that level of achievement.

Hi Biggles,
wouldn’t have a clue as to how many of us are home players, (no doubt, quite a number) but have to agree that for us home players , best thing since sliced bread
best wishes

Hi
It is based on a conversation with a Sales Rep of one of the largest and most respected Korg dealers in the UK.
I was looking at a Genos and asked about how they are selling, he replied that they were going out the door as soon as they arrived and when asked about the demographics of the buyers he responded that they were primarily of retirement age and home players.
What about the Korg? His response, same thing but not quite as many aged buyers as it is a better keyboard for Semi Pro Performers to use.
Hi all,
I really do not understand this reaction. The guy (Korg2024) disagrees with you and he's a Troll ? I thought this was a Forum for discussing things (arranger related).
Karmathanever simply will not buy a PA5X in its current state. I don't like the fact that the quick record feature has been omitted, and I'm also fed up that I have had to wait seven months to get my LED's replaced (still ongoing with no sign of it being dealt with).
I suppose that makes me a 'Troll' also.
And the answer for all concerned is 'NO' I would not recommend the PA5X to anybody.

My Youtube channel has tutorials for Yamaha arrangers. I have 7.68K subscribers and a very good attendance. The statistics of my channel show that 67% of visitors are under 54 years old. It seems to me that this is inconsistent with what the dealer is saying. The UK is 4th in number of visits.

Hi Casper,
It’s a brilliant channel with some very informative tutorials for Yamaha players. Needed now more than ever since the closedown of psr forums.
A number of us here own both brands.
Keep up the great work.
best wishes

In reference to the now-defunct Yamaha PSR forum, individuals seeking a new platform for Yamaha Arranger-related discussions, then the good news is.... efforts are currently underway to establish a new forum within the current YAMAHA MUSICIANS platform. This new forum will provide a continued space for Yamahaha arrangers enthusiasts to engage, share knowledge, and collaborate.
