Hi folks, I‘d like to introduce myself. After playing years in a cover-band using a Kurzweil K2000 I tried out a Korg PA2x pro. It was a challenge to realize all the sound-combis with only 4 sounds plus the pads and mp3 but it worked. Later I switch to a PA4x Musikant (same workflow) and then a Kronos.
Now I tried to realize everything with the PA5x international. The built-in sample quality and quantity is very good and it’s easy to tweak sounds (look at Qui‘s YT-videos). In this thread

I firstly upload a Keyboard set with slightly tweaked internal sounds.
If you have a wish for a realized sound - tell me: It is a lot of fun to use all the possibilities of the board and perhaps it fits your flavour...(I think I‘m not so sophisticated as Qui, but the learning curve gets further...)
Regards
Tim

Re: Any wishes for sounds made with the PA5x?
Hello. I tried to sample the Flamenco Guitar of my Yamaha Keyboard, because the Korg Pa5x doesn’t have a flamenco guitar sound. I created an SF2 file but I doesn’t work on Pa5x. Maybe you can help me pleasekronos_timmmy wrote:Hi folks, I‘d like to introduce myself. After playing years in a cover-band using a Kurzweil K2000 I tried out a Korg PA2x pro. Hello Tim. I want to create a Guitar DNC sound but I sampled the sound from my Yamaha CVP, I created the SF2 file and the keyboard doesn’t import the sound, I always get an error message.kronos_timmmy wrote:Hello Rodrigo, there are some Nylon-guitar sounds using DNC for realistic articulations (like SA-Voices by Yamaha). I will examine them...
Hear you later...
