The sad thing

Post by striphio »

The sad thing is that you have to wait half a year or a year for an update. During this time users have to deal with errors and bugs (old and new ones) as they know without any support from korg. It is understandable that the addition of new functions in the operating system takes a little longer, but these bugs, due to which the keyboard is not operational or functional in some situations, should be fixed as soon as possible. Very unprofessional from korg.
This is also the main reason why I still don't want to switch from Pa4x to Pa5x. And the way things are going, maybe I never will.

Untill you wait and they fix a new update, There will be for sure other options to chose from, Not only KORG,

This is so wrong, We did pay all in once , why should we wait for the update, They already charged us! Almost 3 YEARS not months!

Yes, 3 years!!!!

I am sad to admit that I have firmly decided never to get a PA5x which would create too many problems for me as a "replacement" arranger for my PA4x in view of its unfinished and unfixed problems.
I will continue as is for now but until a new stable arranger is available, I will not be considering any changes.

I will seriously review Korg in the future should they produce a new arranger model (if I live that long :wink: )

Take care

It is plausible that the PA5X may be the final product of its kind from Korg, given its niche market and the increasing complexities in production costs that present significant challenges.

Furthermore, considering the premature releases, such as the PA5X, it is logical to assume that this could further hinder market viability, especially in an environment where margins are constantly under pressure.

there won't be 1.3.1, directly will come 1.5 with new bugs in 2026 :)

2015 = Korg Pa4x 76
2007 = Korg Pa800
2004 = Korg Pa1x
2000 = Roland Va-7
1998 = Roland E-86
1996 = Yamaha ?!
